James O'Donnell

Principal

James is a former senior IT executive with one of Australia's ASX-20 companies. In his career he has managed software development, global IT infrastructure and operations, negotiated with many IT vendors for IT services and outsourcing contracts in Australia, Europe and North America. I have managed IT teams across multiple business units and countries.

Aligning independent business unit teams and leading these teams to negotiate and deliver significant IT supply contracts is a strength. Ensuring operation of these contracts delivers on business case benefits has been a passion.

Rod Linsley

Senior Associate

Rod has broad experience as a technology manager with many years’ experience at senior levels. For the last decade he has focused on the business aspects of IT, conducting tenders for IT goods and services to be delivered Australia-wide or globally, implementing the contracts and managing supplier performance in the delivery of the contract benefits over the years. These contracts cover telecommunications, computer equipment, software licensing, remote access services, managed services and consultancy services.

Negotiating, implementing and managing telecommunications contracts is a particular strength of Rod’s, as is formulating strategies for dealing with the effects on IT contracts of merger and acquisition / divestment activities.

Rod’s expertise includes project management, contract and supplier management, change management, IT health checks, requirements analysis and process design.

Rod has a BSc (Computing Science) from the University of Technology, Sydney.
